Gastronomic tour Garda Lake,Venice & Verona 1° DAY: VENICE Morning arrival in Venice’s airport. Once you clear customs, our representative will meet you and direct you for your transfer, by private boat, to your hotel. A Panoramic sightseeing tour on foot of Venice will include such highlights as St Mark's Square, the Basilica, the Palace of the Doges and the Bridge of Sighs. A lunch in a typical restaurant will follow. Your afternoon is free to stroll or shop in the Venetian "Calles" and to listen to a waltz concert in the fairy tale-like scenery of St Mark's Square. Visit to Ca’ Vendramin Carergi, the Villa on the Grand Canal that hosted Wagner between 1882 and his death in 1883. In the evening, a traditional “Welcome Dinner” will be served in a typical Venetian restaurant. After dinner, you can enjoy the optional Gondola Serenade, a romantic ride through the Venetian canals. Overnight in your hotel in Venice. 2 ° DAY: VENICE After breakfast in your hotel, private boat excursion in the Venetian Lagoon with the visit of islands famous for the handcraft: Murano for the glass factory and Burano for the laces. Then the tour proceeds toward Torcello where you will admire the Cathedral with its magnificent Byzantine mosaics and the Church of Santa Fosca. In the evening ,you'll enjoy an aperitif in a Venetian Bacaro. Venetians are Italy's biggest cocktail drinkers, and there are hundreds of charming "Bacari" traditional Venetian bars. The Bellini is probably the most famous Venetian cocktail, invented at Harry's Bar (Ernest Hemingway's home away from home), made of Venetian Prosecco and fresh peach juice.. Overnight in your hotel in Venice. 3 ° DAY: VENICE BASSANO del GRAPPA (winery)... DESENZANO... SIRMIONE After breakfast in your hotel, depart Venice in the morning and reach Bassano del Grappa, a cheerful little town with arcaded streets, standing at the point where the Brenta River emerges from the hills. Depending on the weather, we will drive up to Mt Grappa (5.824 ft), which was the scene of heavy fighting between Austrians and Italians in 1917-18, for an unforgettable view of the Alps. We sill stop at a Venetian winery to taste world-famous wines such as Valpolicella, Bardolino and Amarone. Reach Desenzano and stop for a stroll in its fisherman’s quarter. Proceed to Sirmione, a little spa near the end of the promontory, for dinner and overnight in your hotel Grand Hotel Terme (or similar)a veritable oasis of wellness.
